What does a senior session with you look like?
Senior sessions with me are super relaxed, natural, and centered around you. There’s no pressure to know how to pose—I’ll offer gentle guidance while leaving room for real movement, laughter, and in-between moments.
We are going to have a blast together! I'll probably tell lame jokes and you'll pretend that I'm funny HA! I'll take some fun Polaroids for you to hang on your fridge and maybe shoot a roll of film for a little nostalgic touch!

Where should I do my photos?
Anywhere that feels like you! That might be your family farm, your favorite ice cream shop, your favorite stretch of backroad, downtown, or something totally unexpected. I have a handful of go-to locations I love, but I’m always excited to collaborate and dream something up together. We can also use my studio space where I have a TON of colorful, fun backdrops or just a plain white wall for something simple and timeless. The possibilities are endless, friend!
If you’re not sure where to start, don’t worry—that’s part of my job. We’ll choose a spot that fits your personality, outfits, and the overall vibe you’re going for. Good light, good energy, and a place you feel comfortable always make bomb photos!

Do you travel?
Absolutely. Sessions within 30 miles of Bottineau, ND are included, and travel beyond that distance is subject to a mileage fee. If you’re dreaming of a location a little farther away, just let me know—I’m always happy to chat about options.

I want a something a really out-of-the-box. Can we come up with something?
Absolutely! Those are my favorite sessions! If you have an idea that feels a little different, nostalgic, unexpected, or even slightly weird (in the best way), I’m all in. Throw out some ideas of what you're thinking and we can go from there! If you don't have any ideas-- no worries, I'll come up with something super creative for you! I have a whole "brain dump" list of ideas on my phone I can run past ya!

What do I wear for my session?
Start with what feels like you. The best outfits are the ones you’re comfortable in and feel confident wearing—nothing stiff or overly trendy. I always recommend shopping your own closet first and building around pieces you love, whether that’s your favorite sweater, well-worn jeans, boots, or something with a little history!
Neutrals, soft textures, and simple layers photograph beautifully, but rules are made to be bent. If you want to go more bold, let's do it! You’re welcome to bring a few outfit options, and I’m happy to help you narrow things down and create a look that feels effortless, timeless, and true to you!

Do you help with posing and direction?
Yes—absolutely! You’ll never be left wondering what to do with your hands haha! I’ll guide you the whole way with easy prompts and gentle direction, but nothing stiff or overly posed.
Think movement, natural expressions, and a room to just be yourself. Leave the posing, angles, and lighting to me!

What if the weather doesn't cooperate?
Around here, the weather doesn’t always play by the rules HA! We’ll keep an eye on the forecast and make a plan together if adjustments are needed. Sometimes that means shifting plans, sometimes it means heading indoors. Either way, we’ll choose what feels best.

Yes, yes, and yes! If it feels meaningful or fun to you, it’s welcome. Props, pets, instruments, vehicles, hobbies, or activities are a great way to make your session feel personal and relaxed—and they often lead to the most natural moments.
If you’re not sure how to incorporate something, don’t worry! We’ll talk it through and find a way to include it that feels effortless and true to you! I've literally hung off a boat to get some cool water shots before-- I'm down for anything haha!
